PROGRAM MANAGER (CAPACITY
DEVELOPMENT AND ADVOCACY)

Supabhorn started working in the HIV field in 2006 as a trainer of nutrition counseling for people living with HIV and a project leader for the AusAID-funded Thai-Australian Collaboration in HIV-Nutrition (TACHIN) project in 2006-2008, and the related program extended to Lao PDR (Lao-TACHIN, 2009-2011). She has more than 10 years of experience working with community-based organizations and key populations including men who have sex with men, transgender women and sex workers through the Test and Treat program and the Key Population-Led Health Services (KPLHS) model in Thailand. Moreover, she served as the Deputy Chief of Party for USAID Community Partnership (2017-2020), a project for building capacity and certifying KP lay providers in Thailand to provide quality HIV services.

Supabhorn is currently working at IHRI as the Program Manager for Capacity Development and Advocacy. Her key role is to lead the ENGAGE technical assistance (TA) platform, where leading CBOs provide TA to healthcare providers and build their capacity and subsequently certify the lay providers in Thailand and the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, she is also responsible for advocating for policy changes and the scale up of KPLHS.
