Nitiya Chomchey is the Research Quality Management Manager at the Institute of HIV Research and Innovation (IHRI) in Bangkok, Thailand, fulfilling this role since 2007. She started her career in clinical HIV research in 2002 at an HIV clinical research institute before gaining experience working for international pharma. She has extensive experience in project management of diverse HIV related studies, from US IND studies to behavioral research, and has in-depth knowledge of national and international regulatory issues. She has more than 15 years of experience as a study monitor and research nurse. She is currently assisting the investigators overseeing the acute phase of HIV infection trials. Her wish is for people who live with HIV to attain HIV remission or cure.
